Where to start?! Let's start with the fun things - designing and buying, dreaming up the next, new wonderful idea/event/online arrangement/merchandise/sustainable improvement/reel/etc and seeing it come to fruition. The lesser fun things but still very important !! Payroll, finances, website logistics....
What is your favorite thing about Rococo?
The team of amazing individuals that make up the company and how each person contributes something unique.
What is your go-to coffee order?
Large iced coffee with splash of milk. Never sugar.
What is your favorite flower + why?
As of now, Japanese Sweet Pea - they are so delicate but the most striking flower and the scent is so sweet. Plus they add the cutest flouncy look to an arrangement.
If you could live anywhere else, where would it be?
Anywhere surrounded by mountains
What is a quirk everyone on the team knows you for?
Alter ego Julia comes out behind the camera or when hair is straightened.
Besides flowers, what is one thing you're passionate about?
Hiking, running, anything physically active outdoors. Without doing these things, I am a grumpy gal :/

What does your position entail?
The florist part of me gets to have fun with flowers (as well all the hard work that comes with it!) and the business owner part of me does a little bit of everything... EVERYTHING!

What is your favorite thing about Rococo?
I love building a brand that has a little piece of each of us in it. It's so special to create something that other people identify with too.

Single shot latte with whole milk - and don't tell me you don't do single shots, because I will lose it!!

I love lilac. It was one of the first non-grocery store flowers I ever saw, and it made me want to explore flowers more! And the smell is amazing, of course.

If you could live anywhere else, where would it be?
Mexico City - the food, the people, the art. But most of all, my family!
What is a quirk everyone on the team knows you for?
I HATE clutter, so I throw everything away, even important things... It's very annoying to everyone around me. Sorry :(
Besides flowers, what is one thing you're passionate about?
I don't usually have a lot of time left to partake in my other passions, but when I do, I love to read, cook and dip my feet in rivers with my dog Pierre.

Bouncing around the shop interacting with all the wonderful peeps that come through and creating beautiful arrangements for y’all.

I don't know any cultural references people make because I lived on a rock (Hawaii) for 5 years.

Shamelessly self-titled as “Julia + Claudia’s right hand woman”, I get to design event proposals, practice my floral technique, run around town with the boss ladies and meet all you beautiful people.

Iced oat milk latte - sometimes with vanilla if I’m feeling a lil spicy that day.

This question makes me mad because my answer changes everyday, but right now I’d say a plum ranunculus with a very firm stem.

If you could live anywhere else where would it be?
In a perfect world? Definitely underwater. I’d be a mermaid or like a big sperm whale. Realistically? The west coast of Ireland in a cozy lil hut with my cat, a cable knit sweater and some hot soup.

My cat and a crisp tequila soda with three lime wedges. Sorry, I can’t choose between those two things.
MYKIE | Shop & Studio Assistant + Plant Queen
What does your position entail?
I consider myself the "floater" of the crew! I regularly bounce around between the shop and the studio, helping and creating wherever I'm needed! I'm also the host of our instagram segment "Plant Parenthood", where I can share my love for plants with our Instagram followers!
What is your favorite thing about Rococo?
That we are the all-women power dream team!
What is your go-to coffee order?
Really depends on where I am, but for the sake of brevity, I'll go with iced coffee with oat milk and a pump of something sweet :)
What is your favorite flower + why?
I really love stock! I think it's the most underrated flower in the game. It comes in such beautiful colors, it enhances any bouquet with its frilly full blooms, and it smells incredible.
If you could live anywhere else where would it be?
I would love to live in the South of France or somewhere in Spain on an olive grove right on the coast. The sunrises and sunsets would be magical!
What is a quirk everyone on the team knows you for?
I'm always using phrases that make me sound like an old man.
Besides flowers, what is one thing you're passionate about?
I'm passionate about the color combo red, pink and green. There's something about those three colors together that I can't get enough of.
